“On the Road Again”

We are in the process of putting the tire back on

We are getting in the car and ready to head back down the road

We are turning on the navigation system to see where God is taking us

Do you want what we do here to be Biblical?

We are going to do Three Simple Things

1. Form a leadership team that will lead our church.

Acts 6:1-7

Acts 15:1-35

-         There is a biblical role of the Pastor/Elders leading and overseeing the church

-         The church also observed the wise practice of gathering together a team of people to work alongside the Pastor/Elders to help in the making of important decisions.

-         When decisions needed to be made regarding the overall church, the people of the church selected certain men from the church to make those decisions and come back to the church with the decision.

-         These men were given responsibility to lead the church.

-         The group was always in unity about their decision prior to taking it to the church.

2. Plan and do ministry that is based on Faith

1 Timothy 1:3-4

As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote controversies rather than God's work—which is by faith.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

3. Have fun

Hebrews 10:25

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Acts 2:42-47

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
